FEATURES

Shirakawa City in the southern part of Fukushima Prefecture is a castle town where Matsudaira Sadanobu was also the feudal lord. Many warehouses are scattered throughout the intricate streets, leaving the atmosphere of a castle town. Shirakawa City is working on the preservation and restoration of the warehouse as "preservation of the historical city". The children's garden construction site is a residential area adjacent to the city center, and the murmuring of the Yatsuta River (a tributary of the Abukuma River) flows on the north side of the site. In the spring, the cherry blossom trees in the garden will be a famous place to co-star with the murmuring.

The business is to renovate a kindergarten over 40 years old to make it a certified children's garden. The conditions were that the temporary garden should not be used in the same place and that the cherry trees should be left. The plan was based on the themes of "Sakura" and "Kura".
